Well, the brain scan results are no surprise. Most of the Attitude towards helmets in the NHL is that players wear them because they have to, not because they are the best at protecting the head. Heck, they can't even take a hit from a puck that well. I think it was Horvat of the Canucks who took a slap shot to the back of the head last year and I think it broke through the helmet and left a gash that needed to be stitched up. He's alright but the helmet didn't hold against the shot
So many teams in the league, following a league like the NHL is basically a full time job.

I don't understand the lawsuit against the NHL? Are the players saying the league knew about the CTE and didn't tell them? Nobody really knew about CTE, but most people with common sense today knows that smashing into things causes your brain to bounce off your skull. So the players have processed a lawsuit against the league? It's the players fault. Maybe not the first few in the early days, but any athlete today should know the dangers of playing professional sports.
