  1. Kerfoot could be a big x factor if he plays like he played in the playoffs keep it up with these vid man love these type of vids!!

  2. 'fantastic' is Leaf hyperbole. I miss Jared McCann, the longtime Leaf who was taken by Seattle instead of Kerfoot. That playoff bit of production may be real, but I'm not really a fan. I know Babcock said he was 'greasy', and maybe he is, but he's more often than not the one who gets knocked down.

  3. Kerfoot is problematic. He is somewhat overpaid if he isn't used in the top six or as a third line center. But it is hard to see how he fits into the line-up. For all the talk about Mikheyev's lack of production; if they play him on a black hole shut down line with Kampf, the lack of production doesn't really matter. I guess they could play Kerfoot there as well, but it is hard to see him being happy with that. I know I wouldn't be. Engvall seems like a better fit in that situation. They could play him on the fourth line, perhaps with Spezza and Brooks. They have been hard capping Spezza's minutes at 11 but if they played Kerfoot on the PK and PP as well they could give him reasonable minutes. That could add some defense to a line that is really lacking in it. I am left agreeing with you. They should probably be looking to trade him. At the same time, there is no need to be in a rush to do so.

I really wish they would have taken a run at Dvorak and moved Kerfoot to free up the cap space. That would have let them move JT to the wing and it would have given them a line that didn't need to be sheltered. Having three lines that could be played against anyone would really free up Keefe to make matchups. Montreal really didn't pay much for Dvorak either. It just looks like another wasted opportunity. I really don't understand some of the decisions that have been made. Where does Simmonds fit in here? Kase seems like a huge gamble. His injuries aren't the kind that the Sports Science team can solve. Richie I can see playing with Nylander and Tavares and the Leafs just sheltering the line. Bunting was a great addition. They don't really seem to be following a well thought out course here. I guess we will soon get a chance to see what they have in mind soon.

  4. The guy earns his pay cheque this guy is consistent and has done whatever has been asked from him. Put him on the wing with Tavares and give him a chance to excel.

  5. Great vids bud. You're one of the only Leaf content-ers i subscribe to…keep it up dude.

  6. Kerfoot was great in the playoffs. Sadly our top 2 guys dont show up when it matters

  7. You know who the leafs need to really need to relay on … the 4 forwards making 50% of the cap. This core needs to be broken up.
