Seguin could benefit with a playmaker like Bourque or Domi. With Domi the question is can Seguin play fast enough? It seemed like they had some good moments during the playoffs. Oddly enough Seguin may end up being the puckhunter on any line he plays with, but i'd hate to see him start passing up opportunities with his shot from the left circle. Bourque or Domi could become his set up man if he can rediscover that shot with consistency.
Seguin stepped up in big moments when he needed to do so, especially when Joe Pavelski was out. I wish that he was more consistent in terms of shots on goal, it would help them more offensively. The more shooters you have the more scoring chances you can create in my opinion. I’m sure his game will continue to evolve and get better. He was great in the series against the Minnesota Wild.
When Benn, Seguin, and Suter are all gone and we've FINALLY SHED THESE TERRIBLE CONTRACT, then we'll have a few years left of Miro and Roope to skate a cup. Until then, we drink lots of beers at the AAC. See y'all in 2028!
