Coyotes goaltender Karel Vejmelka misfired on a pass and sent the puck right to Flyers forward Patrick Brown who shot and scored on a wide open net. It was Brown’s first goal on the season. The Flyers would go on to win the game 5-3 for their second straight victory following a 10-game losing streak. The play the Devils at home on Tuesday before heading up North to face the struggling Canadiens in Montreal.
