Kurt Warner and the Rams were known as the greatest show on turf, they tore through the offensive record books and looked nearly unstoppable throughout the 2001 season. In the eyes of most people, a trip to the Super Bowl was an accomplishment for a Patriots team being led by its backup quarterback, Tom Brady. However, the Patriots had larger aspirations as they defeated the Rams on a game winning field goal from Adam Vinatieri. The win against the Rams was the first Super Bowl victory in Patriot’s history and was a launching point for their dynasty of the 2000’s.

The NFL responded by trying to rig the game against this small market team with Spy gate and Deflate game b.s, finally having to reluctantly embrace them when they won so many championships the NFL was looking petty, vindictive and corrupt….which they are!

The Pats were the first Super Bowl team to forgo that torturous pregame tradition of announcing every star player individually….15 boring minutes of hell. They came out of the giant pats helmet onto the field as "Your New England Patriots" team entrance. The rest is history, as the NFL quickly saw the chance to end the droning opening sequence, forever after, requiring all future Super Bowls to have both teams come out as one unit.
How many wanna be great quarterbacks had greatness snatched from them by TB12? Payton Manning would no doubt be right up there, an NFL legend, but for that damn Brady forever in his way. Every team in Brady's division must have dreaded his existence. Then there was Brady's only "Kryptonite" Eley Manning, a bumbling "inspector Clouseau" quarterback who couldn't beat anyone…but Brady!
