Dan is the best in the business. Period.
Dan, Randy & Drew are the voices of San Jose Hockey for me as a kid whether I listened to Dan in the backseat of the car with my Dad or watching the broadcast with Randy and Drew. Can't thank them all enough for the memories. And can't thank myself enough for being born into the franchise with the best Radio guy in the business. Dan is an absolute legend, Congrats on the HOF induction!

I've listened to Dan ever since the Sharks first season 1991. I remember him calling the Sharks first goal ever against the Vancouver Canucks scored by a native Californian named Craig Coxe
I met Dan while I was working for the A's, was star struck
Awesome interview. My best memory from him was the Donskoi OT goal. I was away in a remote fishing area where I could only listen to Sharks radio for games 2-4 of the finals against PIT. The goal calls for Donskoi are pretty iconic, and Dan was the one that called it for me live. The entire lake heard that call.
