How many games do you go to in a year?
Hi clay great vid i get that the home opener tickets are expensive and the prime games like Toronto etc it’s possibly justified like u said yes it’s hard to get to a game flights hotel food transportation add up fast
Going 0 this year. Been to about 4-5 a year since 2018 but this year idk i just don’t want to continue using money especially last year all the games i had gone to were blowout losses.

I don’t go to Canucks games to see the Canucks. I go to see mcdavid,Matthew’s etc because the Canucks are so bad there’s no point going to the game to watch the Canucks.
I'm fortunate enough to get to go to a few games a year through my partner's work. Living on the island, it is still expensive to make the trip and get accommodations. Not to mention beer/food prices in the arena. Being a couple still with no kids yet and decent paying jobs, I could probably go either way, but it might only be a once a year thing. Always love the atmosphere, but I've also been upset and gone to see some blowouts(not for the canucks) which always dampens the associated costs.😅
I went to 3 last year – 1 in Seattle and 2 in Vancouver. Bought all tickets on the secondary market for a discount, and the Seattle ticket was way more than anything in Vancouver even after accounting for the exchange rate
I always go to a few games a year maybe 4-6 and I’ve gone the past few gome openers since Covid and I can say that these prices are priced poorly like I can understand the Edmonton factor and 1st game of the season factor but lower bowl seats were around $105-120 on average and your telling me they’re now $210+ I think it’s ridiculous.
I went to 11 games last year and 12 the year before this year I I committed to 6 and dropped from 3 seats back to a pair per game. The 18 percent increase is two much .
What if Petey were to get hurt ? Would they give you a chance for a refund since now the team is not so exciting ?
Game tickets are over priced , look at the loser current canucks players on ice , mostly a gong show , yet hard up customers pay the high price

They should make it $ 40 Dollars a seat where getting over the pendemic no one can't afford bad products on the ice foods and extra looking at $200 watching on tv is better
I'm a STM. I got out to 16 home games and 1 in Seattle. The prices are what they should be. We are getting new seats and a new scoreboard.
On the one hand, when the team isn’t dysfunctional and winning, they having waiting lists of people trying to get tickets. So that’s just the market. But the fact that the Canucks are basically for corporations, rich people and guys who are about to get divorced for blowing the family food budget is a problem. Hockey used to be a working class game for working class people. Now it isn’t.
I try to get to 1 or 2 games where tickets are $40-$50 there’s always a few throughout the year

Way to expensive and don't like the USD pricing either….they have it rigged so its more pricey to see say the pens compared to the coyotes…the old days it was one price no matter what team. problem with todays age like the cable companies and packages for sports/movies… where as the old days you just paid one price and all channels were included. the world went and got greedy and that's why the worlds at a boiling point. Rent/groceries/gas/taxes its a luxury to go to a game these days most cant afford.
