I find it fishy though he only had like 8 penalty minutes. That would be one fight in 19 games. If they really were pushing fighting like he says. He didn’t listen, and looks like they didn’t really punish him. He got nhl time during this.

It's the cost of living for these guys simple as that. Kaut would still be here too if they would have given him a bigger AHL salary if his NHL time wasn't guaranteed.
Also, sign Pavs next year and eventually transition him as the next coach of the Cuda.
They need Marleau and Thornton to coach the cuda. I’m Not a fan of McCarthy as a coach
