The more I watch it, the more I think the judges weren't as far off as it seemed. They're watching it from the top and from that view I can see how I think O'Leary looked to have more flow and threw more spray. Some of those turns were as good as was seen on the day. I think the judges thought it was better and gave him the score. I disagree personally, but as they say, history will show Connor won. Epic heat either way.

I'm just wondering if jjf manages to stay in the top 10 maybe he's fine with it and keeps his sponsors. You would have to have a very zen attitude towards getting blatantly stiffed and treat it as just another day on the job. Maybe he's not concerned. Hopefully not.

Good heat. Conner's board is tracking cleaner lines and allowed him to make some crisp, snappy turns. John's board looks like it's bogging at times and he won't try other shapers. But still Conner's last wave score was juiced so…
