The Michkov slander is all nonsense. If it were true, there would be appropriate reactions from teams. If the kid is such a cancer, you wouldn’t sign him to another 3 years. Yes it does seem harsh to throw an 18 year old kid under the bus like that just to justify not picking him, but would you really put it past scouts to do so? Especially in Montreal. They’re not going to say “yeah we messed up” they’re gonna say what they need to to make themselves look good.
The pick was questionable to start with but with the information regarding the habs picking a guy with knee disease it will add extra nervousness to fans.

"Michkov causes problems"… wow. Now i was reading that St Petersburg loaned Michkov to Sochi, and subsequently, St Petersburg played Gusev. Remember Gusev? I think he was in the Vegas expansion draft wasn't he? I mean not recalling the loaned player from Sochi and subsequently getting beaten by Moskva to not make the Finals? Maybe I'm thinking of Garrison?? Wasn't that around the same time as Shipachyov??
Heard Michkov agent told 2 to 6 if them teams took him he wouldn't come over . Heard Michkov met with Briere twice and no one else so could that be why the stories are there he isn't a team player . Hell for i know he not come over but as a Flyers fan glad we got him in the start of the rebuild. I do think if Montreal was in the USA he would have got there but the dollar difference is why it was the flyers he wanted so call go to a big Market.
It feels like michkoff was difficult from where he wanted to go, that is a red flag to me, before hearing he might have a personality problem, now I m glad we didn't pick him
I'm tired of those kind of video legorocks99. I usually like your video. But we have no clue how those (Mitchkov or Reinbacher) players will develop. We'll see in 5 years how the choices the Habs management team are making will impact our team. I was surprised to see that pick when they made it. But good D is always a VERY good thing in my opinion and if we have a chance to draft one, I say go for it.

Mr Reinbacher = ends with 22 in 46 games; 18 points in 32 games; 22 points in 44 games; 22 points in 46 games; That 1 assist in 4 was against Hungary I believe. Those 4 games played were against: France, Sweden, Finland and Hungary, He didn't play against Denmark, USA, Germany;

michkov one of those guys that will play for like 15 different teams in his career , he won't be in philly more then a few seasons before he falls out with someone or demands a trade , demidov is better then michkov anyway lol
Reminds me about what Burke said about Nail Yakupov pre draft interview in 2012. I believe the flyers are so far from a playoff team, they are more willing to take a risk that Michkov's talent will outweigh the concerns regarding attitude.
Then they should have taken Leonard, Benson, or even Dvorsky. Reinbacher is going to be a lesser Alex Pieterangelo, which isn't bad at all but at 5th overall is likely going to look yikesy in 5 years.
There’s nothing rumours could do to keep him from coming over. It would at most affect his draft position, but that doesn’t help the KHL at all. So no, your tinfoil hat theory doesn’t seem legit.
Tbh feels more like Michkov has specific team in mimd (maybe philly) and pprobably told teams that if they get him hell just stay in Russia. Just a thought🤷🏻♂️
