Josh Jacobs Franchise Tag Makes Running Backs Lose Their Minds!, Raiders News, Ep.180

Episode 180 of The Autumn Windbags one day early!
Question of the day, what is your favorite ice break joke?
Josh Jacobs franchise tag has not been signed and Josh Jacobs contract did not come through as long term. Josh Jacobs is in a similar position as Saquon Barkley and Tony Pollard. Josh Jacobs had a career year and a career in general that rivals other Raiders greats like Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson. Other NFL running backs Derek Henry, Austin Ekeler and Jonathan Taylor all tweeted support.
In LV Raiders News, Allegiant Stadium has 16 new club suites starting at $30,000 each. Adam Caplan updates the Darren Waller trade.
In What Up Windbags, did Mark Davis collude to get rid of Jon Gruden, the long term thinking of Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels and is morale low because Derek Carr is gone?

  1. A bear walks into a bar orders “a whiskey……………and a coke”
Bartender responds “why the big pause?” The bear says “idk, I was born with them “

  2. RJ Clownford you're too transparent! You obviously would love to see Jacobs gone ever since we finally got rid of your imaginary boyfriend Carr and because of Soto's perspective on Jacobs you're taking full advantage and trying to blend in your negativity about him! Lastly, I think you guy's are exaggerating and a running back is still a very important position in the NFL! I still think Jacobs deserves to get paid because he earned it by now so we should pay that young man and focus on finally getting a true star QB with mobility and accuracy since we haven't had that in over a decade now! 💯

  3. We are cutting off our nose to spite our face. Every QB's best offensive weapon is a working running game! And, the odds are about 50=50 we will start a rookie QB.

  4. As a fan I want JJ… love him! He brings the pain like Marshawn used to do… a Raider… business…the market is not there… so many Upper tier RBs available

  5. You guys didn't argue or disagree, what am I watching for. What a terrible/boring episode 😂. Just kidding you guys are great 👍

  6. Rj whining as much as Soto usually does. Dude was over 30 percent of the offense last season dude deserves to get paid he has been consistent his whole career. Jimmy will be injured by week 2 with Zeus out there blocking.

  7. People be like omg superbowl running back this and that. Difference is all of them had elite or really good qbs and we have a bottom 15 qb who has relied on RBs his whole career in order to win.

  8. I think it would all be different if the team played better, looked better, or something. Jacobs is a high point. A lot of folks aren’t excited for much outside of him. This lineup looks sad.

  9. In today's time! QBs are not all Superbowl contenders so the Quarter Backs system has to change! Teams Hope, Pray that they have a Mahomes, Burrough, type QB though look at DC, 🤮 never, maybe more like Carson Wentz, RN4L 🔥☠️🏈🤬🔥

  10. just off the top of my head zonovan white, deon jackson, and julius chestnut produced last season whe giving the opportunity, hell even latavius murray was solid for the broncos last season

  11. I think it will be easier to sign Josh Jacobs next season especially if he balls out again. because next season a lot of the dead money will be off the books and also the salary cap might also go up.

  12. You missed a salient point…JJ is NOT under contract. The franchise tag is for $10.019 mil. and if another team offers him a contract at $10.2 mil or better, he might just pull a fuck you on the Raiders and go elsewhere.

  13. It's a straight disappointment, he's been here 4 years . An you think Jimmy Glass . Is a good qb .lol watch I going to be on your ass boys .all YouTube res .that think you could bull shit the Raiders nation. Lol

  14. Joke: Superman's day off

Superman had nothing to do. All criminals were in jail, and he was flying around trying to figure out what to do…

Superman says: Ah!!! I'll go see what Wonderwoman is doing…

He flies over to Wonderwoman's tower and sees the window open. He flies by and sees that Wonderwoman is buck naked, spreading Eagle on her back, grabbing her tits and gyrating her hips…

Superman says: I've got it! I'll fly around the world 3 times and at the speed of light, fly in through the window, fuqk her brains out and be out the window at light speed!!!

Superman flies around the world once, twice, three times, zoom flies in through the window and nails her into the bad, she let's out a screaming orgasm and goes into full-body convulsions, Superman flies away at light speed with a smile on his face…
Superman says: wow that felt amazing!!!

Wonderwoman says: Oh my God!!! What was that…?!?!?!?!?

The Invisible Man says: I DON'T KNOW, BUT MY ASS IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!

  15. I get both sides of the RB debate… and yeah the Superbowl winning teams haven't paid much for the position…
However, there's only a handful of teams who are even able to win Superbowls… out of 32 teams only 6 different teams have won Superbowls over the last 15 seasons… we're not winning a Superbowl any time soon.
Without Jacobs we would have lost at least 3 or 4 more games last season.
Who are we paying that we can't pay Jacobs?
The rest of the teams that made the playoffs all had good RBs… Jacobs puts butts in the the stadium seats…
If we were anywhere near winning Superbowls, I'd say no … don't pay Jacobs. But, we're not going to win the Superbowl for a few years. It looks good to the teammates who love Jacobs… we're not paying a QB… if we were close, then don't pay.. but pay Jacobs now and then never pay another RB ever again, as long as we're winning and close to a Superbowl, don't pay a RB… that's fine.
But for now? Pay him. What would it hurt?

  16. I believe that the defense will be much improved.
The O line will be better…
    The receiving corps is good/great…
The tight ends will be great…
The RB room is in question
    And
    The QB situation is dismal…
Overall the Raiders will be better, but without the premium position of QB in a QB driven league is ridiculous.
