  1. He tried to go low on him if you look at Staal's body he didnt try to hit him in the head but Stajan crouched a little when he was turning.

  2. nonsenceproduction- you know nothing about what constitutes a clean hit. STFU. tatrz- because Stajan doesnt know its coming does not make it a blind side check. It was clean, hard, and well within the rules of the game.

  3. staal thinks it is funny he hurt stajan. the fans and ref think it is fine. see previous comment

  4. Wow there's a lot of whiny bitches out there suck it up it's hockey and it's awesome go play baseball or basketball if your going to complain about contact.

  5. Clean hit – Stop admiring your pass, genius. Don't they teach you that by squirt level?

  6. @bludgeon213 As if the NHL was always fair and always had the good sense in making its decision … you're really naive …
The same hit from Cooke or Richards would have been penalized…

  7. Hit him form the front, did not jump, no elbow. Clean hit but dang that looked like it hurt! Props to Stajan for getting up on his own ( kinda ).. can tell he's not from a euro soccer country.

  8. @bludgeon213 No, he was coming from East to West, see at 0:04 to 0:05…
I'm not saying that the move was outrageous or anything … I'm just saying he should have been penalized as the new rules suggests, that's all …
    Now, enough said…

  9. American broadcasters are soooo biased and no nothinggg about hockey… clearrrly hit him in the head NOT the sholder anddd it was an east west hit not north south. just sit down and stop broadcasting you know nothing

  10. Maybe Stajan Should have been paying attention.

This was definately not lateral, just because he swung into him from a different position on the ice does not mean it is lateral, contact was front vs front.

He did catch his head though, won't touch that one with a fucking pole because Staal is 6'4" and Stajan is 6'0", but it is what it is.

  11. howcome after these huge hits the guy that is hurt always tries to get up and then falls? is it bc like he's dizzy? or what? lol

  12. Nice clean hit. Stajan is looking like a peewee player on this play, its called keeping your head up and this wont happen

  13. they need to make a new button on here for this hit because like doesn't do it justice it should be DAMN!!!!

  14. @zanderix Only one of Staals feet leaves the ice AFTER the hit from the force of the impact. Also Stajan head jerks forward meaning that there is no way he made major contact to it. Body low, elbows in, feet on the ice, then explode into him. They teach you this in pee-wee hockey. I think you sir are the one in need of glasses.

  15. that can kill sumone stop saying keep your hed up if that was you you wold not be ha ha ha rangers c mon so you hit a player in the face took him out for the seson wut the
    hell :0 🙁

  16. That was a clean hit, the dumbass wasnt paying attention he looked to his left instead of looking at the guy coming straight at him. I have seen hits in football exactly the same guys running with the balls looks left and a guy comes from the right a whap he's out. One other note its a CONTACT SPORT STFU!

  17. clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this isnt stajans first time getting rocked for having his head down. watch the hit johnny boychuk gave him.

  18. Stajan sucks! I don't know why flames signed him for $3.5Million per year contract. The worst!

  19. And that's why the Flames are garbage. No one even stood up for this guy. Not a single punch…. just a jersey tuck and slight shove.
