Saad speeds up to score SHG on breakaway against Andersen



Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad speeds past the Ducks defense and buries a nice shorthanded goal past Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen.

  1. Stop making excuses, the ref barely touched him. It was simply the fact that he was caught off balance which is on him

  2. I make sure to never blame the refs unless it's VERY blatantly their fault. This is one of those times.

  3. Yeah it was unfortunate that the ref got tangled up with the Beauchemin, but Kesler had more than enough time to catch Saad.

  4. Saad's stick lift to fight off the poke check was unbelievable.  How do you have the presence of mind to do that flying at lightspeed on a breakaway?

  5. Saad has such a good shot, and not a lot of people give him credit for it.

  6. Not sure why Doc said they are going to talk it over. First the refs didn't talk it over. Second there is nothing to talk over. Refs make accidental contacts with players and pucks all the time. You can't take a goal back for that. Saad my have skated past him anyway. He was already to take off and has done that several times blew by defenseman with his speed.
