He was a season ticket holder for 23 years. He was 42 at the time, I’m 40 now. Can’t imagine what it would be like to attend a Detroit pro-sports team championship win at home.
I was a kid watching the late 90’s and I was amped as shit. I’d prolly end up in the back of an EMS vehicle at my age now. I’ve already spent the last year warning my spouse that when the wings make the playoffs again there will be nights she has to put me to bed lol.

These tickets are referred to in the hobby as “phantom tickets”. They weren’t used as the game was never played. What a time to be alive.

My buddy scored last minute tickets for us to Pistons-Lakers game five in 2004. Best $300 I ever spent. Seeing a championship live is freaking unreal (even from the nose bleeds).
I’m a much bigger hockey fan, so seeing a Stanley cup victory live would be off the charts.
