No wonder they are called nosebleeds

These prices make me want to bash my head against the wall. Last row for these prices? Plus two different fees for doing all the work? No thanks. Anybody else have ridiculous pricing for there upcoming season?

Wait until you see Maple Leafs ticket pricesā€¦

  2. I mean my guy itā€™s the opening night between two canadian teams. what do you expect?

if you look in like november, tickets are 60$ between the same teams in Vancouver.

  3. electricnux

Iā€™m pretty sure tickets for Bedardā€™s first game in Van are even more expensive than this lol the entire province has been waiting years to see him in the NHL

  4. yooooooo5774

Probably because it’s against Edmonton. When they play a team no one here really cares about the nose bleeds are more affordable, at least in previous years.

  5. Ok-Summer-2159

I recently just got 2nd row seats for AEW Collision and met CM Punk and even got his autograph after the show and I paid $200 for those tickets lmao. I know the obvious differences here and why these are so much, but wild to put into perspective like that

  6. Barmacist

$6 Sabres games were great. Only issue was you were watching the Sabres.

  7. That’s the price for just one ticket in Toronto.

  8. BroliasBoesersson

They’re called nosebleeds because you can do cheeky keybumps back there without the ushers noticing

  9. Lpreddit

McD is at the top of the list of players you have to see live, heā€™s even better than watching him on TV.

  10. iwasnotplanningthis

NYR fan checking in. You get two tickets for that? Not bad.

  11. jjb8712

Iā€™ve been a fan of the Blackhawks since 07-08 (born in 99). I went to a couple games when I was a toddler/little kid because they were so bad that my dadā€™s boss just gave them away.

Then, when the 19/88 era started, I didnā€™t get to a game until January of 2022 because ticket prices were obscenely high

  12. asstyrant

My first hockey game was a seat in the nosebleeds.

    Ticket was $4.

  13. durstcobain

At least youā€™re not sitting in the dickbleed seats.

  14. vingt_deux

I don’t know how it is in Van, but in Edmonton, my friends and I buy last-minute tickets on StubHub or similar sites. Even for playoff games, we would get significant discounts.

  15. Wooden_Watch_6754

I remember picking up $50 tickets for nosebleeds from the scalpers outside the sky train station before climbing up the stairs to the entrance in Vancouver.

  16. Fact420

Paid US $210 after fees for a seat 4 rows from the glass for when the Bruins come out west to play the Kings. I canā€™t begin to imagine what those tickets would cost in Boston. Sat in similar seats last year, such a dope experience. Ducks vs Bruins were even better, 2nd row for less than $200.

  17. DiamondBurInTheRough

Not sure what you expected but maybe wait until closer to season start when prices become more realistic.

  18. Beanbar

Sometimes I wish my fan base had this issue

  19. Hagridsbuttcrack66

Paid $278 for a pair to Pens home opener on the secondary market. 200 level, but row E.

I actually thought that wasn’t too bad given that it will be Bedard’s first NHL game!

  20. pensylvestir

Damn, I canā€™t remember what years exactly but not super long, I got to go to caps games in the upper bowl for roughly $50

  21. Complex-Tangerine628

I donā€™t see the issue with this?

  22. Kinger86

That’s 123 USD. Thats not a bad price for hockey tickets

  23. JVan-90

Tbh, thats what I would expect. You’re seeing McJesus and Drai. As a Canucks fan, you should appreciate the chance they even enter your arena lol

  24. jlando40

Thankfully the flyers suck but at the same time Iā€™ll still just end up at the Hershey Bears because they at least win and are a third of the price

  25. OldDrumGuy

    Waaaaay up there for $400.
    ā€œHow about NO!!ā€

  26. mustardtiger1994

I’m a leafs fan so I can only afford to go to pre season games lol

  27. Sweetwater156

Back when the Canes were awful and/or just starting outā€¦ the local Harris Teeters would just give tickets away. They had promotional calendars at all the checkouts and signs and I could go to the customer service counter and just ask for some tickets to the game. Theyā€™d usually have some sponsorship vouchers and you could just turn it in at the box office and score a lower bowl game. $10 college nights were fun. Even though the canes lost most of the time.

Not anymore. Last game I went to, it was nearly $500 if you include 2 tickets, parking fees, traveling hours to get there, food, drinks, etcā€¦but they won at least.

  28. frioyfayo

If there is an order processing fee, why is there also a service charge? Isn’t processing the order the service? Is that for a hand job during second intermission?

  29. Starsky686

I literally sat in the nosiest of nosebleeds (there was concrete behind me) for $250+ in this arena last season. Good thing my boys showed up and beat that dumpster fire of a team. Iā€™ve never paid more for tickets and never sat higher than five up from second balcony before. Brutal.

  30. Mostly_Incoherent

I think a bigger concern should be that you are a Canucks fan

  31. leafsfan341629

Leafs fans saying ā€œhold my beerā€

  32. Broken_Dream_BLVD

You would hate to hear this but last season I got 4 front row (in Van) beside the Canucks bench against Colorado for $200 a ticket

  33. Smackdaddy122

Playoff pricing for regular season folks who missed out

  34. I paid not much less than that for nosebleeds (literal top row) of a *pre-season* game in Halifax.

  35. StumptownRetro

Living in Portland everything is spendy. Travel to Seattle or Vegas, and pay a huge ticket markup? Yup. Hate it.

  36. That pricing is brutal but at least explainable cause McJesus. The “service” fee and “order processing” fee is straight up bullshit though. WTF kind of service and order processing are they providing!?!? $37.50 for no fucking reason at all; this kind of bullshit naked profiteering should be illegal.

  37. __GingerBeef__

FYI I went to a flames game in YVR last year, paid 160/ticket for lower bowl end on fansfirst.

  38. Snakekekek

Just buy seat geek the night before and youā€™re guaranteed to get a better deal with nucks v oilers

  39. macdees13

Vivid seats app tickets for under $120cdn a piece.

  40. ReactiveCypress

This is exactly why I’m glad that it’s taken so long to get the Saddledome replaced. I’ve had a game pack with the Flames in the nosebleeds ever since I started university, and post graduation I’m still not rich, but because of how cheap it is to sit at the top at a Flames game I can go from anywhere to 15-20 games a season no problem. I’m hoping that I’ll have a good job by the time the new arena is ready so it doesn’t hurt as much when they inevitably jack up the prices.

  41. Jam_Marbera

Lol I remember when the Flame were playing the ducks during playoffs, it was cheaper for round trip airfare, hotel and tickets to a game in Anaheim than it was to a game in Calgary

  42. Telemachus70

Fuck! that’s almost as much I paid for a 18 game pack for my local ECHL team.
I used to do an NHL hockey game every year with my friend. It was too expensive. We stuck to minor league hockey and can go to twice as many games together.

  43. Jaxson_GalaxysPussy

Bro ppl pay this much to watch hockey in Canada? Nah yā€™all playing

  44. cannaco19

Iā€™m very happy we won the cup, but I do miss the season that the Avs were absolutely horrendous and my wife and I could get two lower level tickets for $60 total.

  45. No-Level9643

ā€œService feeā€ pisses me off the most. Tack 30 onto the price and fuck off.
