Anyone paying that for a preseason game is insane

  2. georox97

Ticket prices in general have gone too far if they’re trying to pull that off

I thought it was bad when it cost about that much for two tickets to the Avs banner raising. At least I got a week long vacation to go, a once in a lifetime experience and to watch my all time favourite player across all of sports take a lap with the Cup

  3. AutomatedSaltShaker

Only if we keep paying these prices

  4. GlitteredRoomForView

Preseason games are always half empty. Usually just season ticket holders checking out their view for the season and taking off after a period or two. Buy the cheapest seats minutes before the game and just wander to an open good area

  5. ok-go-fuck-yourself

Probably just a play by the stadium to see if any idiots actually buy it for that price

Sports in general it’s sickening the cost of Fandom. I love my teams but think the money being made from TV contracts, owners and even players. The players should get their fair share of the money no doubt, no arguing there and it shouldn’t be like the old days where they needed a summer job to make ends meet either. It’s just ridiculous how much the cost gets pushed on us, not with just tickets, concessions and TV packages just to watch our teams but also taxes for stadiums and infrastructure so they can hold your city hostage for a better deal somewhere else

    Deep breath, end rant

  7. Roddy_Piper2000

Who in the actual fuck is actually paying that?

  8. Juice_Wigalow

Prices in general have gone too far

  9. Jolly_Job_9852

I took my GF to a Canes Leafs game in Raleigh and I managed to get closer seats than the nosebleeds and that combined with parking was still under half of what one of those tickets cost. That’s insane for a Pre-season game.

Tickets have gone too far, period. The average fan can barely afford to go anymore.

  11. WubbaLubbaDubDub184

Well, could be worse. The Ducks at Coyotes preseason game at the Tuscon Convention Center or whatever its called has tickets at 5000 bucks.

  12. Complex-Tangerine628

Ok? That’s literally like a 5th row ticket…there are tickets for $44 dollars for that game. This is like looking at courtside NBA tickets where normally celebrity’s sit and going “omg how dare they make those seats closest to the players and the game so expensive”.

  13. DivClassLg

If they didn’t think some moron wouldn’t buy them, they wouldn’t price them for that much…

I usually only go to professional games now at all if they are free, work etc

Its just so much money, especially if you have kids

  14. 100percentBrass

As long as there is a moron willing to pay that, no.

  15. And I thought $60 for standing room in Pittsburgh was bad

  16. noskatesnodates

I’d rather just buy jerseys to support the team every year or two and attend 1 game in the absolute nosebleeds for cheapest possible. Going consistently just isn’t worth it anymore

  17. SomeDudeinCO3

Only if someone actually pays that.

  18. TheIncredibleHork

If I can’t make my preseason games I just give them away because I can’t get $30-50 a piece for them on the resale market.

Also, Devils vs Habs preseason? I thought preseason usually stayed in-division?

  19. UntrainedFoodCritic

I got that exact same view 2 years ago for the avalanche Tampa bay regular season game for about 250 per ticket so yeah. I’d say y’all are a little extra

  20. GuyNamedPanduh

    Ticketmaster has ruined event pricing.

Tickets should have a fixed price based on event, set by venue; this nonsense of demand pricing is ridiculous.

  21. MecheBlanche

Is that resell or sold by the organization?

  22. BillMcCrearysStache

I love hockey, but even 1k for a playoff game is steep for me, bills to pay you know

  23. ThadTheImpalzord

Looks strange but sporting event ticket prices have gone crazy, it’s becoming more of a white collar event if you want to get decent seats to see a decent team

  24. TexasYankee212

The clubs try to get away as much as they can. Management must have some point they can make a profit or people will reject the prices.

  25. nerfherderparadise

People must be really excited to see the devils 😈

  26. StraightCashHomey13

But it says it’s moderate pricing !

  27. ShaolinSlamma

Your looking at one of the biggest hockey markets in the world, if your a Canadians or Leafs fan most times it’s actually cheaper to go for a round trip to the away games instead of going to the home games because of how volatile the resale can get

  28. CleaveIshallnot

Those are good seats tho. Much better than row 2 impeded by glass. They’ll have the best view of anyone in the joint watching AHL players try to make the cut.

  29. cyclingnutla

$15 bucks for a beer, $8.00 bucks for a pretzel, $18 bucks for a burger. These are prices for concessions at Staples Center/Cripto.combArena. These prices are reflected in the cost of a ticket. It’s much more expensive if you want to buy something at a Laker game.

  30. GhostWolfG13

They haven’t gone far enough. Let’s keep pushing.

  31. Canada_Checking_In

People can list re sell tickets for whatever they want….also a seat selling for $163,615.00…
