Quinn’s got a rocket of a shot, and he produced among the best in the OHL 5 on 5, while playing on the second line. He did well on the power play with Rossi too, so I’m sure Eichel feeding him passes in the slot on the PP will look even better. He’s really worked on his skating and he’s got some good wheels. I’ve preferred him over Holtz for a while now, though at the same time I would’ve never guessed Rossi would still be on the board. That doesn’t take away anything I like about Quinn however. RW as well, a really shallow spot in our depth chart. If he has a strong training camp and bulks up a couple pounds, I can absolutely see him being on the third line with Kahun and Cozens. A young, defensively responsible, low-salary, high-skill third line. What’s not to love??
