Samsonov went into the arbitration process with a similar, but slightly stronger argument than Gus will enter with should they go all the way thru. Even though they don’t compare directly, the implications are pretty clear that this is about what you get for 1 really good year and history as a solid backup. Gus only has the former.
Russo has reported 3x$3.4. I’m gonna officially make it my guess that that is the deal that gets done before arb
