I for the most part agree with the list. With the last point my friend from Mizzou is not a Prof at Va Tech, so that last point applies to him and his kid is a huge Va Tech b/c all his friends are. I don't like bandwagon fans. Agreed with Brandon's point on small schools, there are bunch of Wyoming and South Dakota fans b/c a kid of these 1A schools had a kid go there. To jack's question NO you can't be a fan of both PSU and SCar in that case. On Undergrad and Grad School, I root for both b/c they had some formative years and close friends there, ON WISCONSIN; and FU Jack Mack for that BS take.

The problem with Fitzgerald “lawyering up” is he may regret it if he did in fact know more of what was going on.
The first investigation was completed by a law firm that wanted to make the school happy and reported just enough for the suspension to fly.
The second investigation will do Fitzgerald no favors and they will overturn ever stone, interview every player, interview every coach, look at every email for the past 17 years.
So he better be as squeaky clean as he claims because discovery will find out every dirty secret.

Not everybody can afford or can get into the college that they grew up a fan of. Don’t think they should be disqualified as true fans. I think the number one factor is how long you have been a fan of that team
The woman at PSU. Worked for the Harrisburg Patriot. Sandusky was being investigated by a Grand Jury since 2007. Her story came out in 2011. Rumors about Sandusky had been circling for years. Her reporting pertained to PSU. Sandusky was indicted on 48 charges. Convicted on 45. The 3 exonerated charges were the only instances that allegedly occurred on Campus. Still to this day No victims have come forward that alledge they were abused on PSU campus. The other 45. Occurred at local High Schools. And. Through his Charity. The Second Mile. No one High School officials. Or anyone from Charity has ever been investigated or charged. Only Penn State officials have been prosecuted. Yet. To this day No proof of abuse occurring at PSU. Has ever been made in court.

I mean 1, there’s a substantial amount of usual crimes that never get reported in the United States, especially involving minority groups and sexual assault cases thanks to decades of precedent showing the victims losing more than they can gain from trying to be truthful and seek Justice for themselves and others.
And 2, compared to every other sport on the planet, football culture has military levels of indoctrination and conditioning from very young ages so no shit a lot of young football players are gonna come out against coaches wether over more minor aggressions or flat out assault.

I have been a Texas fan my whole life and I have lived in Austin for my whole life going to nearly every home game since 2004. I have been feeling iffy on whether or not I can be a Texas fan because of the fact I was not able to go to school there. I played baseball but was only a D2 level player so I was never going to be able to go to Texas but still have been feeling a bit like I shouldn't be a fan.
The worst ones are the North Carolina/Duke basketball fans being fans of Miami/Florida State football. I've seen thousands of them.
It's never the opposite. I want to just meet 1 person who's a fan of North Carolina/Duke football and Miami/Florida State basketball 😮
