Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, I coached a pee wee team in New England. There was a 6am practice the morning of a roaring blizzard. My wife said I was crazy to go. I played there for 8 years of my life, saint clair shores civic arena in michigan , that’s the gardens rink, brings back many good memories for me 🙂 thanks op

Never got to play hockey growing up
Parents were able to find the cash so I could at least go skate once in my life it was a school trip (was a good day in grade 5 I wish I could skate again I was horrible but it was fun)
When I stepped out the ice looked like this but not for long! Kids were skating circles around me (not literally I’d have crumpled and cried) only fell twice! Was starting to get my stride then we had to go 😔
