Leafs talking to Watson
Zadina, on waivers does not surprise me. He was also rumored as a trade including Ottawa.

Zadina on waivers is a bit of a shocker but he hasn't realized his full potential–I suspect someone will give him a second chance in the NHL The Kraken will provide Yamamoto a fresh start, good young player who should fit in well there. The Leafs are making moves to make the team tougher, which I think is good for them.

Zadina is done in the NHL. He's been given many chances to prove his worth, and he hasn't lived up to it. He can always have a new start in KHL or other European leagues.

There is no reason zadina shouldn't get picked up. I would love to see him on the jets

Oh…..and re: Tatar…..would love to see Habs bring him back to play with Gally. Recall that Tatar, Gally, and Danault were one of the best lines in the NHL not too long ago. If Habs bring Tatar back just maybe that sparks a resurgence in Gally's game….if they could find the "right fit" at "C". Pipe dream??? Maybe….but if they could sign him for decent $$$ it just might be worth the money.
Taking Zadina instead of Hughes is almost as bad as Juolevi before Tkachuk
I remember when the wings drafted Zadina. Then they got Veleno. Two guys that were projected to go higher in the draft that they were picked. Everyone was calling the wings, the biggest winner of the draft, and got the two biggest steals of the draft. Sometimes the “experts“ are wrong!
Hehe.. Zadina.. the 'dynamic' forward a lot of Habs wanted including armchair scouts. Wanted Tkachuk of course that year.
He needs to look at Jeff Skinner's game and hope he can turn it around.. though at the moment he doesn't have a Tage to play with.. lol
He needs a fresh start.. maybe with the team that he said he is going to 'fill their nets with pucks..' ;p
