The Canucks signed Teddy Blueger to a one-year contract with the hopes that he could at least temporary fill their gaping hole at third-line centre.

Allvin and staff didn't have a great draft… Willander is a good pick, but Benson may have been the obvious choice.
I'm fine with Willander though… Rutherford is horrible at drafting players, and I don't think Allvin will be much better… Lekkerimaki will prove to be a bust in my opinion. Too many Swedes on the Canucks.. Time to draft some Canadian players..!

Ok guys i have an idea for a show. We know the PK last season was an ankor. Yet EP n miller led the nhl in SH goals. That dramatically changes the PK stats. I dont have stats in front of me or have time to pick it apart. So the question for the show is really analyzing the pk….when it got so bad, was it before the glut of sh goals, before the coaching change, is the presence of ep40 n miller on pk hurting it despite the sh goals?
To me sh goals is great PK but i havent really had a deeper look at the pk and before / after tocchet numbers. Im sure you can make an entire show on this
Like htf does the pk get numbers like that with EP n miller each scoring something like 9 sh goals a piece? Id guess the pk was abysmal previous to the sh goal swarm
Oh…and ya blueger has a history w this management team. Not sure if tocchet had him before….but they know something about him thst says he will be the guy they need
I really like how prepared allvin was july 1. He knew all his targets, went after them immediately and knew how to wrap them up. They all were like the 1st bunch of signings. Really liking allvins methods and vision for the team. Term n $ were reasonable for all too. Well done.
really i dont care where plays cuz hes gonna be just a filler for a yearand we not gonna resign him or better yet get him few goals and trade him at the dealine for a 4th.
