USHL Draftee, Christian Lyons, takes us on a summer day at TPH academy in St. Louis, Missouri.
TPH offers a 6 week training program to hone on individual player skill development. Lyons gets a chance to play with NHL pros Trent Frederic of the Boston Bruins, Chad Ruhwedel of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Cole McWard of the Vancouver Canucks, and many other pros from other leagues around the globe.
TPH Academy is located inside the brand new, 83 million dollar, Centene Community Ice Center. The rink also serves as the St. Louis Blues practice facility as well as the home rink for the Lindenwood Lions.
Lyons plays Defense for the St. Louis AAA Blues U16 program. Christian looks to have repeat success this season with hopes to move on the play in the USHL where he was drafted by the Sioux City Musketeers.
