Some nerd-ass robots that’s never laced up skates is trying to tell us about hockey gtfo

  2. The-Pigeon-Man

I mean… it’s not that bad really. I think many of these guys can be placed interchangeably

  3. WhiteWonderKyle

Might be unpopular because it was literally almost 100 years ago but I think you gotta have Bill Cook somewhere on that list.

  4. Mysterious_Eggplant3

I’d like to see Graves and Kreider in there

  5. Mysterious_Eggplant3

Jaromir Jagr. Face it. It’s true. He brought winning back to the rangers after a very dark period.

  6. Djbearjew

Flip Henrik and Richter because of ’94. Krieder will be on this list when he hangs them up.

  7. Introvert77

Messier said at Leetch’s number retirement that Leetch was the greatest Ranger of all time. So…

    My personal list:

    1) Brian Leetch

    2) Henrik Lundqvist

    3) Rod Gilbert

    4) Mark Messier

    5) Frank Boucher

    6) Jean Ratelle

    7) Andy Bathgate

    8) Bill Cook

    9) Harry Howell

    10) Mike Richter

Will mika, kreider or fox make this future list?

  10. Leather_Change9084

How long until Zibanejad makes the list?

  11. DryProgress4393

Swap Mess and Leetch and no disagreement from me.

I’m sad I missed out on the Messier, Leetch, Richter, etc. years.

  13. Brad Park far to low. He was basically always the 2nd best defenseman in the NHL.

~~I have him as the best Ranger of all-time; but in no way can I see him below 3rd.~~

    edit…

A fellow poster noted the games/seasons played for Rangers vs Bruins and I have to amend my opinion. I cannot place him as the all-time Ranger great when he played more games for the Bruins!!!!

I mean.. yea, that’s actually a pretty good list. I’d have Boucher far higher up, but that’s just me.

  15. Old-McJonald

I guess this implies only their performance while a Ranger because there’s this guy Wayne Gretzky I heard was pretty good

  16. Hemingwaylikesliquor

Sean Avery not on this list?? Smh

  17. Zero-jiggler

I don’t know if this is a hot take but I would go Gilbert then Leetch for 1 and 2. I also agree that Bill Cook should be on here somewhere.

Missing out on such luminaries as Slyvain Lefebvre, Igor Ulanov, Rem Murray, Jamie Lundmark, Norm Gratton, and Lucien DeBlois.

  19. Wingnutt02

I’d put Richter over Lundqvist. 🇺🇸 and 🏆
