It would be great to have the interprovincial rivalry in Québec again. As much as I’d love this, I do feel this is quite a long shot. Gary and his minions don’t give any shits about a small and passionate hockey city in Canada. He wants big and untapped markets in the US for lucrative TV contracts.

I went to a Coyotes game one year when the rumours of them moving to Quebec were in full effect and wore a Nordiques shirt.
If the Nordiques returned, I’d buy at least $1000 of merchandise on day 1.

I wonder when people will realize the team folded for a fucking reason. Owners just don’t decide to move cities because they don’t like the food. It was losing money. So tell a potential new owner “Hey you wanna invest in a team Quebec? It’ll cost about 3 billion to get it started and it’ll lose money every year.”
Shocking people aren’t jumping on the opportunity.
