  1. "Homegrown" doesnt refer to the state you were born in moron, it refers the professional organization that cultivated you and/or drafted you.

  2. ok. I guess you are right, there are multiple ways to look at it. I usually assume that homegrown means from that state. When someone refers to a Red Sox player as homegrown, I think that means they were born and raised in Mass, or when someone on the Philadelphia Eagles is homegrown, they are from Philly. But it is ambiguous and you are also right, I guess in hockey, given the ratio of Canadian players, homegrown can mean American in general. Btw, there are plenty of NCAA players from Canada…

  3. This is beating a dead horse, but in professional sports, when fans say homegrown it means the player wasnt signed as a free agent or traded for. Jeter, Rivera, Posada were not born in NY, but were all homegrown by the Yankees. Henrik Lundqvist was born in Sweden, but he was homegrown by the Rangers. Hope thats clear enough.

  4. When talking sports, yes you are wrong. When talking life, you'd be correct. Every sports analyst, beat writer, tv announcer knows what home grown is when talking about their team. And its never referring to the players state of birth. Happy to educate you.

  5. Omg dude, shut up. There is more than one way to define something. I already acknowledged this and apologized. Let it go and stop being a douche trying to prove me wrong.

  6. I dont have to prove you wrong, you already are. And if you want me to stop replying, then stop replying to me. Next time mind your fucking business and dont initiate conversation with people if you dont expect a diagloue. Imbecile.

  7. Awe you just need the last word dont you you little bitch. Well I'll give the baby his rattle.

  8. imagine the box this kid is getting 20 years old in nyc playing for one of the best teams in the league

  9. Bergeron gets hit in the face. Bleeds everywhere, stays on the bench, and moves his head in concentration watching the game WHILE getting stitches.

Kreider gets hit in the head with a stick. No blood. Leaves the ice. Doesn't return to the game.

Thats the difference between rangers and bruins.

Kreider is a Grade A PUSSY.
