Gil,just wondering what holmstrom and Johnston have” earned “with their roster spots? Simon had a whopping 5 points when he got the call last season. Wasting a roster spot on Ross the boss is another stupid move in a league where theirs less and less fighting. Wahlstrom would be further advanced in his career if he wasn’t jerked around by Barry and now lane. Bolduc should of gotten those extra 12 games they wasted on wotherspoon last season. Just for us to lose him anyway. Those games might of helped Samuel before the playoffs. I watched Bolduc and Skarek play last year in Bridgeport. They both could easily be on this roster. We’re a team with barely any top end talent. That’s why the power play sucks. It doesn’t matter who the coach is. Problem with our team is theirs not enough room on the third line for everybody. lol
Another failed Lou off season.
If you look at last years stats, Wally was a much better player than Holmstrom. Wally 35 GP, 7G, 9A and +5. Homie 50GP, 6G, 3A and -4. Right now Homie is assigned to the AHL, and it should stay that way. Put Wally in that spot and keep him there. I think both will be successful NHL players, but right now Wally is the clear choice. Kuhlman is the obvious choice to go down, but it could be Ross.
Lets see if he can skate first…i know hes got a deadly snipe…but hes gotta be more than one dimensional are yoj listening Dufour?
I expect Lennox to shoot right on by Skarek…i think hes gonna be a good one

There is going to be a lot of shuffling around in camp for sure. There's a lot of middle of the road players on this team. My thoughts are it's going to be a 3 way tie for last. None of the bubble players are going to light it up offensively anyway so…… it's going to be another year of Lambert moving guys around to the point where nobody is comfortable. All that is, is insecurities in your lineup. That breeds failure. None of these guys are anything but role players. If you can get your top guys to play to the level they're supposed to all the rest of the problems usually work themselves out. Now try to get that to happen! I dare you.
Stick Wally on the 1st line with Bo and Barzy. Throw him right into the fire and lets see how hungry he is!!!! LGI!!!!!
13 goal scorer career 32 goals. Ollie taking a cheap one year deal. It looks like ollie is getting a one last chance deal. Surprised as fk lou didn't give out another 7 year lou standard deal to ollie. Lou now $400,000 over the cap in typical lou fashion. Which means his horrible ross deal gets buried in ahl. Which means the whole band is back again for another season and run at playoff line mediocrity. Only spot-on line with 13-14. If ollie can't produce next season and can't score the 25-28 isles need then its time to say good bye to ollie. Lou can leave with him. Skarek will be passed by lennox. When lennox is on he's good. That is the problem-sometimes he isn't.

Hi Gil! Well now that he’s signed it up to Whally to earn his next contract. If he gets off to a good start, I feel he could be trade bait but I wish him well. I like the young man, just not sure how good he can be. 1st line 💯—see what ya got this year. Lennox is I feel—Sorokin’s future back up. I just have a feeling he will be pretty good—-has size and I heard agility—-covers ground. Let’s see how it goes. Sharek? Well he’s still young but if he has another clunker year I just don’t know where his future lies. Working with our goaltending team should automatically improve you—-hasn’t worked out. I feel bad for the young man—he’s there for a reason—-he’s good I’m sure but maybe not good enough. Make or break for both he and Whally. Johnston will be an ex Isle soon. I lost a lot of faith when he lost the 2nd time to Reaves this year. He’s a tough kid but we need his $$$ Gil-do we have an up and coming potential enforcer in the system, does anyone of our fans know? Matty did a real good job last year but we know he can’t beat the top guys—-back in the day he was maybe your 2nd fighter as he should be. He is almost done. I know some teams don’t have a pugilist but going into Boston and Toronto next year won’t be fun I feel. Excellent as always Gil—take care!!

I'm so happy Wahlstrom is still a NY Islander! I just have a certain feeling about him having a fantastic season. Our diamond in the rough. He is going to make people watch him with wide eyes!
