This video is a bit off topic for me but I really needed to vent. A very frustrating and disappointing Devils season just got a bit more frustrating-er.
My point is that if a 5th round pick in 2022 is all you’re gonna get for a decent goaltender. Why bother making that trade?

I'd post my reaction to Robert Kraft getting caught in a rub 'n tug parlor, but I'd either have people with torches and pitchforks chasing after me, or in white coats.
As a NYR fan enduring a rebuild (and watches a terrible prospect pool in Hartford night after night), youre right. Kinkaid should have gotten at least a 2nd rounder or even a conditional 2nd. They should have dumped Schneider & kept Kinkaid & Blackwood as their 1 & 2.
I actually teared up a bit when Kinky was traded, 5th round pick 3 years from now for my favorite player. I don’t care if I sound like an 8 year old. Let’s see how bad we are when Schneider retires after his contract is up.
