Can anyone go over the advantages/disadvantages of placing a player on LTIR vs buying out their contract?
Signing Kampf for 2.4 million per means someone else has to go now, someone making money which means more likely then not, a core (maybe not core 4) is going.
Timmins and Lafferty for low picks?
Or something bigger, like Brodie for Matt Roy?
Theres extras on the team currently that can be sent down with no penalty. Means starting with a 20 man roster again
Can meet the cap by sending Robertson down, waiving Gambrell and Timmins.
Can somebody explain the limit regarding LTIR and how exactly the Leafs would clear that space?
Treliving is cooking, watch. Big changes ahead.
Sayonara Jarnkrok. You were good for us 🫡
With him gone the Leafs can run 13F 7D 2G
Can’t we just go with a smaller roster size?
Waiving Reeves would be a good start.
Kidding obviously but I wish I wasn’t.
Kampf at 2.4 already aging poorly lol. What’s the long play here ? I’d rather pay Willy $10mil and put a fringe player in kampfs place than lose Willy to keep Kampf+Reaves and all these mid guys
I do believe that Tre has another move coming, BUT, putting Lafferty and Timmins down or away puts the Leafs under with a 20 man roster. That is 110% not ideal, but it’s a much better scenario than being over the cap with a 20 man roster.
Brodie for Zadorov make it happen.
Dubai would have been able to make this work. He is a cap magician
A lot of comments are galaxy braining this. We’re over by 2.1m with extras on the roster. Send down Timmins, Robertson, Gambrell and we have a 12F 6D 2G cap compliant lineup
