Anson Carter played with the twins in the same line and became a 30+ goal scorer
" the Siren Sisters ". -. Neil McCrea. Who ? What ever happened to that loud mouth anyway
So thankful this was able to happen before the Covid-19 outbreak became a pandemic.
luongo was so good
What was the issue with Robert Luongo? Why did the audience hate him?
19:19 What's so funny about finding Burrows for another tap-in? I don't get this joke.
K
bieksa ruined it
37:14 All those Canucks GMs are fat.
I was initially surprised to see Gary Bettman at these jersey retirements but then I realized they don't happen that often.
Watching this still makes me sob.
The sharp cockroach incidentally irritate because powder substantially harm underneath a woozy degree. windy, parsimonious acknowledgment
I always wondered if Daniel and Henrik could pretend to be one another for a day and if anyone would notice lmao
I love the Sedin brothers but this ceremony seems weird and forced. But then again I'm an American so maybe this is how it goes in the great land of Canada? I prefer watching Steve Yzermans jersey retirement ceremony.
I can't stop thinking this whole time watching this that the Canucks should go back to the old school black and yellow uni's
Having Shorty emcee the ceremony was awesome.
Y’all say whatever you want about this, but as a Canucks fan, I wanted to see Matt Cooke in this ceremony. Canucks fans wouldn’t boo him because he was one of our all time super pests that can chip in some points and most importantly, goals. Even after Cooke had left via trade and then signed by the Penguins, he still showed respect to his longtime (9 years) former team by not cheap-shotting any of them whenever he played against them. The moment Shorthouse said “West Coast Express Line”, I was hoping every player from that line (regardless of their history) would be here. Regardless, this was an emotional ceremony for the people of Vancouver.
Everyone at centre ice couldn’t even hear the speeches. What a joke, kinda ruined it for them.
Quick glance at the watch. I'm watching this at 22:33, during evening.
i was at the game
And now we suck…
Eh whatever, Henrik love Henrik life
I will miss them … I wish they'd won the cup…
36:20 aged so well
Think that game 7 in 2011 still haunts them?
When they thanked burrows you could see he was on the verge of crying, I was too
What a memorable ceremony. It was one of the last significant Canucks related event that occurred before our pre-Covid 19 lives got turned upside down.
I could listen to Kevin Bieksa all day. Guy is hilarious lol
They booing Gary bet man and bill lmao
Lou so cringe
Shorty has been doing play by play ever since I started watching the Canucks ever since 2009! I never get bored of his voice.
This was only the second time in NHL history (correct me if I'm wrong) that TWO numbers were raised together. I'm sure that Ted "Teeder" Kennedy and Syl Apps were smiling on that day.
loved the ceremony but the music to the highlights was crap
I’m old enough to know the atmosphere in the Olympia when Gordy Howe won . I’ve watched the habs in the forum playing Russia . I love hockey and I believe people like Daniel and Hendrick make it a great game .
KB so killed this, Still flawless!
I know the crowd is screaming Lou but still I feel like they should said it with a little more enthusiasm. Cause they sounded like they were booing Lou.
Henrik Sedin 2009-2010 and Daniel Sedin 2010-2011
Is this not mitigated at all by Daniel and Henrik being twins?
The pressure on those involved to stay focused on this in the midst of everything going on in the world must have been tremendous.
They changed the way the game is played. Very few players have ever done that. Today's NHL players owe Danny & Hank a debt of gratitude for what they did you not only the Vancouver Canucks but for the NHL game.
