Is Matvei Michkov the NEXT Alexander Ovechkin?!
#Michkov #nhl #matveimichkov
Matvei Michkov is going to be a superstar in the NHL in the future. This past season in the KHL, Michkov proved that he is the best Russian NHL prospect since Alexander Ovechkin. From their blazing speed and lethal shooting ability to their electrifying presence on the ice, Michkov and Ovechkin share remarkable similarities that leave fans in awe. This is why I still can’t believe that Michov fell to the 7th pick in the NHL Entry Draft to the Philadelphia Flyers. While Michkov is still in the early stages of his career, his potential is limitless. With his combination of skill, athleticism, and hockey IQ, he has the tools to follow in Ovechkin’s footsteps. I think Matvei Michkov is going to become the next Alex Ovechkin in the future.

No chance he is no where to ovi
Two totally different games. Michkov is the best player around the net that I've ever seen…
No telling until he comes in
If all this Russia stuff wasnāt going on I think Mitchkov couldāve been ahead of Bedard
chill out , michkov is a dwarf , ovi is a 6'3 240 lb tank who hits , and knocks people out all while being the greatest scorer of all-time. No , he will not even come close to ovi.
If you era-adjust Michkovās 0.74 p/gm with Sochi to approximate if he had played in Oviās lower scoring draft year, Michkovās adjusted production is still 0.61 p/gm to Oviās 0.43
Michkov may have had slightly more opportunity, but Ovi had far more talent around him to help out. Michkov was working with crumbs on a team with an 11-47 win record
Forget Ovechkin he will be the first Matvei Michkov!!
Could the habs have MAYBE drafted him?!
Not even close. Ovechkin can also hit, fight, backcheck. He's a complete all-around game.
Bedard is Amazing, but I prefer to watch MICHKOV play. I've been closely following him for years. IMO he will definitely win at least 2 Rocket Richard trophies in his NHL future.
