2020 projected top 2 pick Quinton Byfield is finally starting to find his stride in the OHL. With the Sudbury Wolves these past six games, the 6’4″ 16-year-old has found himself 14 points. It’s a massive improvement from his 15 points in the first 21 games of the season.

Hi. I’m legorocks99Gaming (Otherwise known as “legorocks99,” “LR99Gaming,” or simply “LR99”). An average teenager that posts video game commentaries on YouTube. I’m still very young, and the fact that I make videos on YouTube is pretty much the only difference between myself and the stereotypical teenager. I enjoy making YouTube videos and I hope that you enjoy watching them!

Oh god no
Lafreniere at 1st overall is even more of a no brainer than Jack Hughes. However, Byfield probably has a higher ceiling than Kakko and therefore could go 1st. It may be a reach, but the 2020 draft is comparable to the 2015 draft, as they’re both incredibly top-heavy. That’s why I want Montreal to suck next year 🙂
Lafrenière in 2020 is more of a lock than Dahlin in 2018 and Hughes in 2019 imo
I think he will be good for a top 5 pick for sure, I’m not so sure that he will be in the convo for first as Lafreniere has that locked up. Lafreniere is just on another level when compared to everybody else + he will be more nhl ready come draft day than almost anyone else imo.
Lego roccks what would you think if EA added the world juniors to Br a Pto? You could start your career in the CHL andif youplay well enough you getinvited to your country's selection campand if you make the team you play the world juniors for your country and do you play be a pro?
Nah Lafreniere 54 Pts
I got to watch Byfield play for team canada white I think he is huge and has a great shot however I don’t see him as and elite player he is kind of slow and does not have the creativity to become a star I could be 100% wrong but he projects more to be like Milan lucic in his prime in my opinion
To me Lafreniere will go first overall without a doubt…. feels like a Matthews or maybe even a higher ceiling
Alex had the advantage of being in major junior for a year before quinton got there. Byfield has only been in for two months (barely enough time to adjust to league ). In next year he will challenge and eventually pass lafreniere… I have no doubt
Hughes=Keller/Kane, Kakko=Laine/Rantanen, Lafrienere=Crosby/LaFleur, Byfield= Think of Byflugien with offence and skating like Jeff Skinner
Always enjoy your videos. As a nucks fan I can only laugh since I think our days of being a lottery team are over, but in typical Canucks fashion prolly the best draft in years is coming a year to late. I am glad the team looks like it can be fighting for the playoffs, I just wish the draft this year had as much elite talent as next years.
