Brutal. I’m glad that he was able to get his bag, and I’m VERY glad that he’s not in Carolina. But I’m gonna miss Vlad

That’s a real shame. I’m glad he’s not in our conference though.

We can finally get over the comments saying Tarasenko was going to sign a sweetheart deal for the Rangers. Very smart move on his part signing a 1 year deal with the cap supposedly rising next year.

    ***FUCK CHRIS DRURY.***

We’re paying a goddamn 4th liner 3.6 million a year for ***FOUR FUCKING MORE YEARS*** so we have the honor of trading away picks at or near the deadline to try to bolster the roster, just so we can lose them for nothing in the offseason. This guy hands out NMC’s like Bill Cosby handed out roofies and our cap is completely FUCKED because of it. We have less flexibility than Stephen Hawking. This is the team, that’s it. Nothing will change because we can’t. We replaced Tarasenko with the dusted corpse of Blake Wheeler. Nice job, Chris.

Are you really going to tell me Tarasenko actually would have taken that deal from Ottawa over NYR if we had been able to offer it? Does anyone on this planet believe that?

Drury is the same as a GM as he was as a captain – a massive fucking pile of dog shit. Fucking asshole hasn’t done anything right since the Little League World Series.

Good thing we have Goodrow to ease the pain

At least it’s not Carolina. That would have sucked.

Glad it’s only a one year deal. Something tells me he’ll be back next year.

  8. Goodrow and Trouba will kill us in the next few years if we can’t dump them.

  9. Mazzatti1

Better than Carolina. At least it’s the other division.

Late to the party, but damn, that’s a bit of a crusher. I really knew it was a long shot but I had a tiny sliver of hope.

1 year? He’ll be back. We can move some contracts next year

I don’t know much about you guys but I’m of the belief that Wheeler will have more impact/ put up more points than Tarasenko this upcoming year. I’m not invested, so I’m prepared to be wrong. but that’s my take.

Good, now that whole saga is now over and people can shut up about it.

Let’s concentrate on getting experience for our youth and actually planning for the next 5 years rather than constantly overpaying for players who are over 30.

Just saying, I would rather have had Tarasenko back than Barclay Goodrow and a 1st round pick I don’t feel confident in the Rangers using properly. But I’m a salty fan, and maybe that’s why I’m not the GM
