I often see the people saying that since 94, the Stanley Cup has only been won by teams from USA and other people answer to that is that these teams consist mostly of Canadian players and so it goes on…
Well I was curious and had some time to kill, so I checked to see the nationality of each players from all the winning teams from 1994 to 2023 (players whose names are engraved on the Cup).
I counted the number of Canadian, US and other nationality for each winning teams, and then add up for all the year and here are the results!

The Dane is Eller, Frenchman is Huet, Slovene is Kopitar and someone else (is it him twice?)
Too bad Nathan Walker didn’t get his name on the cup when Washington won, an Australian would’ve been cool.
NJ winning a cup would bump the Swiss quite a bit.
