Jacob Trouba Hit on Corey Perry Who Doesn’t Have the Puck
The Rangers’ defenseman Jacob Trouba throws another big hit in the post season, this time on Corey Perry who is nowhere near the puck at the time of the hit.
Perry was accelerating out of the zone, while Trouba just placed himself and stood his ground. It seemed Perry didn't realize he was skating right into Trouba.
Ray Ferraro never got hit in his life… Corey Perry is a POS great when he’s on your team .. but this is a grown man sport, guys get hit.. just watch Scott Stevens!! ESPN is the worst.. bring Doc back
10-15 years ago and beyond Trouba would be missing his teeth from all of these high hits with his elbow on opponents. The league has become soft. With that being said Perry has always been a dirty player.
And of course the lasting image from this game is Trouba getting beat at the blue line and futilely trying to catch up to Stamkos as he scores the series winning goal. LOL
This is why we can't let the NHL neuter the enforcer. Look how they handled the Beech incident, never mind Chicago's upper management, look at the NHL, they only took action because they had no other choice, the whole world was watching! No wonder they don't do anything about the multiple cheap shots on stars and then are all too happy to punish the enforcers when they take action.
"Another High hit" meanwhile it's about as perfect of a shoulder on shoulder hit as you can make. People try to make Trouba out to be a dirty player just because he makes big hits, even when they're clean.
Isn't interference when possession counts since puck was under stick. It's pathetic how soft nhl fans have become, you guys would be crying if Scott Steven's or kronwall were still in the league.
All I keep seeing for the last few years is a bunch of crybabies upset a clean hit leveled their favorite team. Deal with it, trouba being physical in the playoffs is how hockey should be. Especially on a piece of shit like perry.
All I've seen the last few years us whining about clean hits or fights, it's the playoffs not beer league, and this was in a conference final, if you can't handle big hits or fights there is always soccer and basketball, I would suggest baseball but they fight sometimes and that might trigger you into the fetal position.
Trouba paid for the hit, it's huge risk for ending up with the series winning goal, I can't believe how many crybabies watch hockey now. I wonder if any watch combat sports and complain about watching someone get knocked out.
Veteran move by Perry. Knew the pass was coming, sneaked a peek at Troubs, and let the puck go past while bracing for impact. Good non-call by the refs, though.

Next time just drive your elbow into troubas face! Perry never touched the puck. Clear interference. Hilarious shit.
Too bad Katy perry didn’t get hurt
No penalty. The puck was on its way towards Perry.

He had the puck, cry baby
"Puck's not there?" 🤔 this player gave a 1000cheapshots in his career, yes. That one was clean af, impeccable timing!!
Trouba Train now accepting passengers.. Next stop Pain-Land…
Clean hit, but was interference lol. Some get away with it, some don’t. Perry definitely deserves it tho
No hit from behind. No slew foot. A hit right on face first. No problem. Doesnt have the puck? Happens 40 times a game.
All that is is payback
Clean hit. Ray Ferraro is awful, whining constantly. Puck was a second away and its Perry, a notorious cheap shot punk.
