He told a story about when the Canucks went to play in Europe. Said coach had him pressboxed, no chance he’d play any games. Dude went hog wild, out partying, chasing women. He had an awesome time. Coach hated his guts.

I liked O’Brian. He was a 6-7 dman who wasn’t afraid to stand up for his teammates. If you expected anything more from him, you’re a moron. AV hated him but AV was an overrated garbage coach. He’s the Canucks winningest coach because he had team that a stool could be relatively successful with. AV was exposed when it came to his abilities in the playoffs
