    There's word going around that he signed to come to the NHL only. If this is true and they let him dictate the terms, I think this could potentially not sit well with the rest of the team. What if Johnson demands the same thing? This sets a bad example in my opinion.

    Devon Levi will be the answer in net. Next step, sign Dahlin long term. We have the summer to upgrade our D to get Dahlin, Power and Samuelsson some help. Next season can't get here fast enough.

    Wasn’t ever really concerned about him not signing, but it’s still nice to have it official and remove any tiny bit of doubt.

    With the team suddenly on a slide, this is the best news all season. Sounds like he'll be with the Sabres for the rest of the season and my even play in a game or more. I think this kid will make UPL look like he should still be in Rochester. Now to hoping for Mr. Johnson to sign. I expect the fact that they didn't ship his rights out of town means that they expect he will, unlike that of Erik Portillo.

    Best news of the season. Hopefully this kid becomes everything we think he is because then he's going to be awesome. A season in the AHL with an audition in the bigs and then watch out NHL cause Buffalo's coming. 😋

    Levi will be good/great but not with this defense. Need to bolster it before we can call this kid a savior.

    Gut feeling that he is dictating to the Sabres how things are going to be. Starting his contract this year and refusing to play any games in the AHL. Hope I am wrong. Why not start him next year.We lose a year in entry contract.
