  1. Leiweke's kind gesture to Brown must've been really inspiring (I would've been)! No wonder he's the executive of the year!

  2. What a great situation the Kings were in to be able to trade for Carter. Slava is a terrific player and like Dewey said he's always getting better and better. A hell of a lot better defensively than JJ, and the 1st rounder in 2013 that was given up is almost irrelevant… the Kings are one of the youngest teams in the league and have won a Stanley Cup. Boom.

  3. Hey LA won the cup. But I think Brown is a terrible captain. He has a speech impediment, so he's obviously not giving out passionate locker room speeches without hearing giggles in the background.

Ok, you say, forget the speeches, just lead the team on the ice. What does7 Brown do? Dive. Dive, dive, dive, and dive again. I'm a Kings fan since 84…this sickens me. I know guys in the room are quietly thinking the same. They work too hard to see this kid, I mean captain, flopping around like a fish.

The future is with Kopi, Doughty, Quick. Not Brown.
