  1. If I’m a professional hockey player, I’d be stoked for a whole year of hockey. I mean that’s why they play the game, and yeah it may take a toll on them but I’m sure they’ll be ready to go!

  2. So it seems like the NHL plans to have the draft between the Stanley Cup playoffs and the free agency period, just like usual.

  3. Normaly player had 3month of rest june july august now oct nov 2 month and april may june july that 6 month of rest

  4. Judd Brackett …. Good luck on your new endeavours.
Life will continue with or without you.
Thanks for all your past contributions. 👍

  5. This off-season and how he handles the cap hell will be how I judge Benning's pedigree. Brackett is an unfortunate casualty.

  6. Who care's! NHL is a lost cause! Rushed poor managed lottery system, non playoff teams in the playoff's! And that one playoff team will pick 1st overall. Laughable! Middling league losing fan-base as they fiddle!

  7. I predict in 5 years that the Wild have a deeper prospects pool than Canucks do. I also wonder if Brackett will have intel that may give the Wild an advantage in the Play in round. He may still have an affect on Canucks drafting this year. What do you think?

  8. Even worse. It'll be the same amount of games for the Stanley Cup loser. Go through all this and have a short break to the next season, and you have nothing to show for it.

  9. The flat cap is going to doggie style without lube so many teams and the guys who were expecting a big payday will discover reality quickly. What happens when your AHL team is basically your NHL team because the guys are hurt or have practically dropped dead from exhaustion yet you still have to field a team? They may "want" 82 games but without butts in the seats and with the virus still with us (probably) would anyone in their right mind want to travel and what happens when you cross the border and have to be together for 14 days cohorting (that didn't change, they still have to be here 14 days if they come from the states, they can just cohort together). You can't have those over and back games and the Canadian teams will have to schedule long away periods and long at home periods to accommodate it. This won't be pretty.

  10. If covid keeps going hard in the states, i would be surprised if next season starts.
Its easy to get these guys in a bubble for a month to compete for the cup. but how hard will it be to be in one for 8 months?
