In the first installment of PON Never Ever, Ryan and Arash look back to the summer of 2006 when the Vancouver Canucks made a blockbuster trade with the Florida Panthers to bring Roberto Luongo to Vancouver. But what happened if they never made that deal? Would the Sedins have still led the Canucks to back-to-back President’s Trophies? Lets find out!

  1. What if Vancouver had won the expansion spin of the wheel … ?? Would there have been a French Connection Line in Canucksville? Would a Marcel Dionne / Gilbert Perrault West Coast Rivalry have pushed BOTH The Kings and Vancouver to greater heights than they ever achieved in those early years, wanting to better each other around that SUPERSTAR core player The 'nucks NEVER had until the arrival of Pavel Bure? How would having Perrault on the team legitimized the organization, leading to the ripple effects of attracting talent, keeping talent, even building a fan base that could finance chasing competitive players, coaches and management? Way-back Machine, you'll have to go ALL THE WAY BACK, for this one? Cheers guys – hope your summer is going well.
