No offense but I hate when people fully blame or credit coaches. It was mostly a mental problem with Cole before. I just mean it's mostly on the player themselves for poor performance it's not like he couldn't have been a LITTLE before Marty came along. Glad to see him doing well regardless

1:09 That's what happens when you have good shooters and no way of setting up plays. A lot of their goals are from 1 guy rushing the net from the red/blue line. Also, Our Wedgewood/Vejmelka tandem is so much better than our record suggests, especially Vejmelka. If he isn't here next season it'll be a shame
Melrose and Ducharme both went on deep playoff runs on the back of their players. Just horrible coachs, they cared more about their public perception than anything else. Caufield and Suzuki playing St Louis style Caufield gets 30 and Suzuki gets 45 helpers.👍🏻👍🏻

Slow down with Stamkos comparisons, lol. Remember a guy named Galchenyuk who got 30 goals one year playing on a team with 0 chance of making the playoffs, how did that pan out. Caufield looks good right but there's not a lot of pressure on Montreal. I am not saying he isn't going to be good, all I am saying is, it's a bit early in the game to anoint him with such lofty expectations….
Given that Dominique Ducharme's system was not advantageous for Cole Caufield, what really kickstarted Caufield's season was the Toffoli trade. 10 pts in 33 games before the trade and 19 pts in 13 games since. The departure of Tyler Toffoli gave Goal Caufield his chance to shine.
