I will be using this drill every week from now on! I tested this today and the results speak for themselves!
I've got the same Cobra putter and also use Vice golf balls. Great drill.
Going from a face balanced to a toe hang has really helped me
well done 🙂
Nice video I think Harman won cos on the first two days his tiny drives were short of any trouble and the big hitters took two days to work out, those bunkers suck……his putting was steady as though 😊 agree Alex those putting mirrors are a no no, come on staring down looking up your nostrils not the way to go.
EXCELLENT, VERY CLEAR, EASY TO FOLLOW ADVICE.
THANK YOU FOR A PARTICULARLY VALUABLE TIP.
Love this channel!
OK thats all just great… But lets c u do it left handed….bahahahahahaha
great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where did you get your polo shirt from please Alex?
Alex please explain you’re putting grip. Are you pointing both forefingers down the shaft?
i cannot believe it, it's like standing on thin ice, it feels risky, even
disasterous, but….have faith, it works.
i know now i'll have to force myself into using it, because it feels so different from the norm.
The secret is in his 12 wiggles before each shot
Thanks a lot for clarifying Harman’s technique. Excellent video!
that's funny! he said in the post round interview that it was the putting mirror that gave him the edge by being able to release the putter.
Lee Trevino once said there’s never been a great putter of the ball who didn’t hook their putts. I don’t know if that’s true but Ben Crenshaw certainly hooked his.
That's a very well illustrated drill! I will for sure work on this, it enforces what I am already trying to do on my putting.
You don’t swing a putter. You maintain a constant straight push regardless of position behind or to point of contact, staying a millimeter or two just over the green. You move the putter shaft exactly vertical from back to contact to front.
Did you say it isn’t legal to adjust your clothing?
I will try this drill this week. My putting has started to struggle a little. Also do know what Vice ball is equal to the Bridgestone E9?
Great video mate! Spot on advice.
So glad you showed this – i have always putted with a slight arc, ignoring all the advice to go straight back and forward. I thought i was doing it wrong but it just made sense to me has always been one of the best most consistent parts of my game – so now i know i am not mad 😊🙏🏌🏼♂️
I think your lessons would be more interesting if you could visualize your entire putting stroke in Golfboy!
I tried this and I like it! One interesting thing I noticed is that in doing this drill I found myself holding the putter perfectly still and just rotating the lower body. As the hips rotate along the body, they rotate right on that arc and it ending up taking any arm movement out of the equation. I feel like this could possibly lead to more consistency in the stroke.
