Robert Rock, Liv golf tour & other HUGe names are left frustrated after watching the WGC at Austin Country Club during Saturdays Match play event between Max Homa & Mackenzie Hughes on the 13th hole.
What do you think? Has slow PLAY become a HUGE issue in golf and even more so on the PGA tour? What can be done to STOP it & get golf moving forward. In my eyes this is a GOLF PANDEMIC. & this is a HUGE mess for HOMA to try and sort out as golf fans are LEFT EXASPERATED. What is the slow play etiquette? how do we stop slow play?

What is SLOW play like at your golf course?
I think the biggest problem is we have a bunch of amateurs talking about the PGA tour acting like they know what it’s like to play for that much money just shut the fuck up and watch
Takes no longer to aim point a putt then any other way of reading a putt
They need a pace of play clock on all players, 3 hours is plenty of time to play a round.
Solo I play 18 in 2-2:15. With my buddy paired up. its pretty much the same time. We play ready golf. I detest long rounds. There's no reason 4somes should be more than 4-4:20 max. We even hawk balls in that time occasionally.
I hate being behind a 4 some and they stand around the greens. No one lining up putts before its their turn. I'm hitting my putt the second someone pulls their ball put of the cup…if not sooner and their ball is out of the way. Then they can't drop a guy off at their ball and drive to their own. Just sit in the cart wasting time.
This wont be popular but golf at the local tracks for weekends need to be mandatory cart usage only. The old couple, and older guys act like they must walk to play. On a sat it drives me insane to be behind multiple slow groups of old people walking. Sighhh yes come at me but I make my father ride to keep pace. This fixes almost every issue.
Why do you use the F word to advertise your video? Don't you think there is enough pollution in the world already? There you are presenting a nice CLEAN game to America and you look to pollute it!.. Please make an effort to care because many viewers do and won't watch your videos if you use that kind of language to advertise them. Thank-you

If I was playing for an "astronomical amount" of MY MONEY , I would take extra time. Those guys are playing with the banks money.
surprise surprise hes an aimpointer,. This system is so slow its painful even in amateur golf
100 % … caddy involvement has slowed down the game. They all think they are experts and have to get involved. SOme of the pre shot talk ispainful. DO you feel that breez, yeah i feel that… hold on maybe its a 7…. wait no there was less breeze, its a 6,,,, Jordan Spieth, Mickelson etc do too much talking pre shot.
at 5 am in the summer i can get round in a little over three hours in a 2 ball, in a comp at Blankney it can be almost 5 hours.
Yes it is. One of my last rounds at the local muni course we where at 4 hrs and waiting with 3 other foresomes on the 8th tee box. We left.
So we take around 4 to 4:30 house to play a round of 18 holes 4 ball. provided we do not have slow players in front of us. The biggest problem we have is the slow walkers between hols and the players who don't look at the line of their putt until it is their turn to putt. they are a big pain in the bum…

Money is irrevelant ….just set rules and enforse the rules….when they start losing strokes that going to cost alot as well
Only way to quicken the pace of play on the tours is enforce pace of play violations with penalty shots. For me personally I play for fun, take my time to enjoy the walk, but I finish 18 in 3 1/2 to 4 hours always. Walking. In a buggy, a bit quicker. I try to educate slower players on how to organize their time in playing a shot, most have no clue. They take their cues from pros on tv.

Golf used to be an individual sport. Now the golfer refers to his round as we. The caddy is far to involved. These discussions between the player and the caddy are ridiculous. Nicklaus said he wanted a caddy to show up on time, carry the clubs and keep quiet. If a pro can’t read his own putt he should not be playing. There should be a clock on putt times. When it’s your turn to putt you’ve got 40 seconds for example. Or some reasonable limit.

Slow play is killing golf full stop…. Things like Aimpoint dont help with player hoping around the greens taking for ever. Luckily not many players use it
