The Anaheim Ducks selected Olen Zellweger with a second round pick, 34th overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Zellweger spent the 2017/18 season with the OHA Edmonton U15 Prep team, and the 2018/19 season with their U18 Prep team. In 75 CSSHL games the Everett Silvertips (WHL) second round pick tallied 68 points, winning a U15 Prep CSSHL League Championship in 2017/18.
