The biggest news here is that Fedotov is still willing to come to North America.
I was expecting that, even if the IIHF sided with the Flyers, he and his agent would ask Briere for a mutual termination of his Flyers contract so that he could stay in Russia instead.
So to simplify we’re just waiting on who the IIHF sides with, if he sides with the Flyers he is willing to come over here. The question I have is would he even play at the NHL level or would he go to the AHL?
Our goalie room rn has Hart, Peterson, Errson, Sandstrom, and possibly now Fedotov. Best case Fedotov wins the backup job.
