I can’t wait to see what he brings this year after the great post season and his off season training he’s been posting.
Feels like even our own fans are now undervaluing him when it comes to what our lineup looks like next year.
He’s been a staple on our top line for a reason and while his point totals weren’t quite where we wanted them his actual play on the ice has been fantastic.
He just needs to continue to bulk up as he’s a much smaller forward and still just 21 years old.
I’d expect he could do what Necas did last year if not better with the hockey IQ and hands/skill he has. He not only generates opportunities but he can BURY them as well. That combo is gonna pay off.

It’s so easy to forget he’s only 21. I have no doubt Jarvis will become one of our best forwards, he just has that “it” factor you can’t teach. If he gets a full season playing with Aho and Svech plus some more power play time, I think he’s got a shot at 70 points next year

Brind’Amour has a specific type of player that he favors and almost always those players are grinders.
I think Jarvis will develop into the highest “Rod Likeability” + skill that we will see in a Canes jersey. Rod has trusted him far more than early Svechnikov or Necas, for example.
Cylinsier
Easily one of my favorite guys on the team, I really hope we find a way to keep him if he blows up this year. Cap space is gonna be tight.

We fans are also poised to watch Jarvis have a breakout season.

He’s going to pop off this year, I can’t wait. Dude was on fire in the postseason.

Jarvis’ on-ice adaptability is really impressive. I’ve rarely seen a player that just seems so.. idk good at learning? The way he improved his physical play and forechecking this season as well as figuring out how to be sturdier on the puck is gonna help so much when he starts to integrate his skill
