   It really was and I’m a Habs fan whose team lost in that year to you.

   Richards was at his peak as displayed in “The Shift”. He was a fucking great player. It was a good mix of vets and up and comers. But mostly, it had that one element that great teams have – a street gang mentality wherein the players all know that the guy next to them would go through a wall for them. A true team.

   sure we came back from 3-0 to beat the bruins. But still lost 4-2 to the blackhawks. Something special was losing to the Oilers in game 7 in 87,. But that still wasnt special as it wasnt the cup which we still havent won since 74-75 and until we do, there’s nothing special. Always a bridesmaid never a bride
