This Makes Me NERVOUS…

Ok now I’m officially nervous. The Anaheim Ducks and Troy Terry submitted their arbitration numbers today, and I did not expect them to be this far apart. I give my thoughts on the topic in this video!

  1. There was a arbitration case on the leafs recently that got bad. Samsanov is gonna be leaving Toronto with the quickness. Where do you think Terry will go if he does leave?

  2. What are they going to offer? Zegras 2.5 million I think some general managers from some other teams better start writing up some offers for Z otherwise he might not get paid for his worth or maybe.Verbeek just doesn’t see the Value in them. Because they aren’t 33 years old and they get double their previous salary Gudas and Killorn

  3. I've never seen an arbitration go any differently, I doubt Terry will take it personally. He knows it's a negotiation tactic.

  4. Make a deal Pat! I’m starting to not like GMPV. I just got done arguing with some clown on Facebook who believes Alex Killorn is more valuable than Troy Terry 🤦🏻‍♂️ 😡 If you are not aware that Troy is our best player then you clearly don’t know much about hockey.

  5. Could PV be looking for bridge deals for all the young players, this will also give him a chance to see if the new coach has what it takes to be coaching these players? He can also evaluate Terrys past seasons as well? I think Anaheim is going the right direction for creating a competitive team into the future, and to be honest, after the past few years seeing anaheim flounder with old and outdated players. We will just have to wait and see. I also dont think Killorn and Gudas stay with the Ducks for their contracts, I see them as trade chips, pending this season.

  6. The Ducks have the cap space to make this happen. I will admit I first thought Terry was asking for too much. Then you mentioned the Killorn deal😇. I changed my mind ☺️

  7. Aren't the ducks not even at the salary cap floor? That means they can afford to spend a bit more on their top guys than they normally would have…. as they have cap space and the cap will increase in the coming seasons… it's not like the Ducks are trying to spend to the cap to be contenders next season!

  8. I love Terry but see him being 6.75-7 Mil per year player and that’s being generous. He’s only had one 30G season. Good point on Killorn.

  9. This is a super normal part of arbitration and negotiations. It's a tactic to meet more at the realistic landing spot for both sides. I feel Terry will land somewhere between 6.5-7 realistically.

  10. I just hope the deal is ready and will be announced 5 minutes before the arbitration starts, just cause little ball of hate wants to troll us
