  1. Leafs fans you are gonna love Bernier. He is a human vacuum cleaner, with amazing rebound control and plays the puck well. Big upgrade!! I think he is a future superstar, and signing him to 2 years keeps him a RFA, Leafs win the trade! Go Leafs Go!!!

  2. I'm not sure how happy Bernier would be being a backup in Toronto. Us Kings fans know too well that he wanted out of LA to be out of Quickie's shadow…but the dude is a great goalie and definitely could be a starter. It was just unfortunate that he was on the same team as J Quick. I still wish him all the best on the Leafs.

  3. Bernier is a WAAAY better goalie than Reimer, I've been a LA fan for a while now watching Bernier and he is a very composed goalie. Realize that Reimer is a really inconsistant goalie, he has those 7 goal games, then the one flashy night. He's all Leaf hype. Where as Bernier competed with arguably one of the no. 1 goalies the past couple years and was still debated against to start. Where Reimer was battling against Scrivens… xD

  4. Love your videos man, but 100% believe you're selling Bernie WAY, WAY short. He will be the starter, you're in for a pleasant surprise.

  5. loss, frattin was a strong player, had great chemistry with kadri and was sad to loose we could've got another player or a 1st or 2nd round.for him. maybe: Frattin, Scrivens + 2nd round – Bernier, 1st round/ trevor lewis

  6. bernier is gonna take the starting job. the trade doesnt make sense cuz you got 2 number one goalies

  7. the leafs trade many draft picks that turn in to amazing players. 1991 first round pick 3rd overall was toronto's but they traded to the devils for tom curvers. That 3rd overall pick was scott niedermayer. 1997 4th overall pick traded to the islanders with kenny johnson for wendel clark and mathieu schnider. that 4th overall pick was roberto luongo. Imagine the leafs with scott niedermayer and roberto luongo

  8. Looks like the found their star goalie. Bernier is so much better than Reimer; Bernier could be an elite goalie by the end of this season.

  9. hey people, riemer should still be the starting goalie, he is home grown talent and can play great. Sure as of this moment bernier is doing awesome, but we will wait and see as the season continues. But as for the moment you do have to look and ask, what if riem did get a concussion today. Who would you rather have in net for most of the season, bernier or scrivens… Nonis looks like a genius if riemer is out. So thats my guess as to why he was brought in, In case of injury. 2 starters

  10. This Dangle Glen dude is fucking idiot.

BERNIER: 17-5-5, .926 save percentage, 2.58 GAA, 11-6-4 with a .933 save whewn facing 35+ shots per game

REIMER: 10-6-2, .910 save percentage, 3.26 GAA, had 8 AWFUL games and has been pulled 6 times.

So basically, you idiot fanboy, Reimer has been the pumpkin. Bernier is putting the team on his back the whole season.

  11. well, this is cheating because im responding about a year later, BUT, bernier is not only the number 1 but likely one of the best in the league. Frattin got traded and doesnt appear to be much of an impact, same with scrivens, so really the leafs parted with a number 2 draft pick for an elite goalie, and if you dont think hes elite well…..just look at the highlight reels, and the leafs would have been out of the race in december if not for bernier, and likely would have made the playoffs if not for the injury, so overall, leafs won this hands down, I dont fault LA though, they had to move bernier given his talent and the packages offered. Many, many teams wanted this guy, just landed with my blue and white, and thats fine by me.

  12. Note from future: he was absolute trash until this past season. Don't know what he will be like next season
