Predictions all? I’d say 85-90 points. Only because I think we didn’t get worse too much but the central got better. Let our young guys develop.
This season is truly a crapshoot. It will be imperative to jump out to a better start, no 0-3’s this year as the younger players learn the NHL. I agree with the other comment – the Central has improved while we are stuck in our cap restrictions. Nashville to me is like the Wild, thinking they are going to challenge MN for one of the top 3 in the division. With Soros, they are always dangerous. I’d say 95-98 points 3rd or 4th, battling for a playoff spot again this year as the current roster has a lot of talent and the structure ( D zone play ) is still in tac. Still feel a move is imminent to free up some money and allow for some flexibility, especially if a prospect like Beckman, Bankier, Walker etc. make it impossible to send them back to Iowa.
